Retatrutide 10mg is a triple (GLP-1, GIP, glucagon receptor) agonist, developed for the treatment of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and related metabolic disorders.

It is a so-called peptide therapeutic, which is based on a similar principle to tirzepatide, but with an extended mechanism of action.

According to the manufacturer, efficacy data are from Phase II clinical trials where an average weight loss of 24.2% in 48 weeks was found in the highest dose (12 mg). Liver fat (up to 86%) has also been reduced. Blood sugar control (HbA1c) has also been improved.

In a Phase II study, subjects with 12 mg of retatrutides lost an average of 24% of their body weight over 48 weeks.
